Develop STEM skills and knowledge with Helix Marble Run by Engenius Contraptions. It is a fascinating construction created from natural wood, glass and paper. The Helix marble run has been designed with both simplicity and reliability in mind. An elegant combination of laser-cut plywood parts and paper straws, this kit is straightforward yet rewarding to build. Inspired by Victorian cast iron engineering, the balls revolve three times around a helical track that’s over two metres in length. The motor-driven lift keeps the marbles moving in almost perpetual motion.

The laser cut wood slots together precisely to build a robust and fully working machine that is thrilling to see in action. Age 10 years – adult.
